Max Ryan — Senior MES Manager
Max joins Pangaea as a Senior Manager in the MES Services business, bringing six years of MES delivery experience across global biopharmaceutical clients and multiple MES platforms. Now based in Sydney, Max has led MES deployments for large biopharma manufacturers, following four years in MES consulting roles in Dublin spanning analyst through to associate manager grades. Max began his career on the plant floor at Takeda Grange Castle, working on the team manufacturing mesenchymal stem cell-derived therapies — grounding his consulting work in real operations experience. Max holds a BSc in Biotechnology from UCC, an MSc in Business and Biotechnology from UCD Smurfit, and is PMP-certified. Max will remain based in Sydney, supporting Pangaea’s global client base.

Kieran Higgins — MES Technical Senior Manager
Kieran joins Pangaea as a Senior Manager in the MES Services business, bringing over a decade of MES delivery experience across some of the world’s largest pharma manufacturers. Most recently he is the lead Global MES Consultant to Takeda, following earlier engagements as a Senior MES Engineer at MSD’s Dunboyne biologics site and at Pfizer Grange Castle, with prior project experience at Alkermes, Novartis and Gilead. Across those roles he progressed from MES Engineer through specialist, associate manager and manager grades, working across the full MES lifecycle from greenfield deployment to optimisation of mature platforms. Kieran’s experience spans multiple top-20 biopharma clients and several MES platforms, giving him a platform-agnostic perspective on what drives real value on the plant floor. He will remain based in Dublin, supporting Pangaea’s global client base.
